Merwin Chew

Practice Lead – Creative

Merwin got into a career in advertising by ‘accident’, having discovered that being a research assistant is not his calling.  Through a blind application, he was offered a role in account servicing at Eureka Advertising (now Publicis).  Since then, his advertising career flourished in several agencies including Leo Burnett, JWT, McCann Erickson Beijing and MullenLowe, where he worked on numerous regional brands.

Merwin was eventually offered to take on the role of the Practice Lead for the creative portfolio.  He is dedicated to finding the best talents for his clients in not only Singapore, but also globally. He believes in conducting his business with integrity.  His direct and straightforward approach with clients and talents alike are refreshing to many. If you want an honest opinion, you can expect it from him.

When Merwin is not working, he can be found at the gym, yoga centre, or just sleeping at home.

Practice Lead – Media

Brenda comes with more than 18+ years of experience in the media industry, and prides herself on being the guardian of many evolved brands. She was responsible for business planning and development, extracting best-in-class advantages to drive future state spaces for clients.

She believes whole-heartedly that good talents are a crucial part of any company’s success, and they must NEVER be turned into commodities at any stage of the business or industry. So as we go through one of the most significant changes of talent demands in this new age, Brenda is geared to guide new and experienced talents to more sustainable career paths, while ensuring they are in future spaces.

While she is not busy giving career advice, Brenda loves trawling through bookstores wherever she goes & has started to hunt for rare finds on the net.

She WANTS to get healthier but it’s a constant battle as she loves food too much. More than once, she has evolved her running route to the local satay stall instead.  She is currently working on a publishing project on special needs children.

The relationships she has built, together with her industry experience, will make her the recruiter of choice in the region.

When Sunita is not working to make a mark on someone’s life, she loves to scuba dive. Her enthusiasm has taken her to unique and obscure dive spots around the world, like the Maldives, Fiji, Raja Ampat in Indonesia and Malapascua in the Philippines, where she has swum alongside whale sharks, giant barracudas and threshers.
